The Keeper Of My Heart

My Man G

In the glow of the nite lite

With a tear on your lash

I hold on to your hand

And let the fear you have Pass

You got lost in a sea of a nap time idea

Made you feel full of fear, in need of some help to free ya

As I hold you in my arms and give you a hug

I tell you I will be with you to fill you with love

At last you are calm and fall into your bed

And I wait till you rest and then I kiss your head

And tell you a tale of the day that we met

It was the best day that I have ever had- yet

  • Awww, this was so sweet! Very lovely!

  • This hearkens back to our favorite children's book, "I'll Love You Forever", so beautifully capturing that love, care & concern a parent has for their panicked child & what it means to be able to hold & calm them. Capturing this moment so poignantly, Kelli, well done.
