The Journey of Love.

From the Heights of Joy to the Depths of Heartbreak

At first, it's a spark, a glimmer in the eye

Two souls meet, hearts beating high

The connection grows, the bond takes root

And a relationship is born, sweet and true

The days are filled with laughter and love

The nights with passion, heat rising above

The world is a brighter, more beautiful place

When you're in each other's warm embrace

But as time passes, things can change

The once-strong bond can begin to strain

The love that once flowed like a river

Can dry up, leaving only a shiver

It's hard to see the signs, the cracks that form

In the beginning, the love is so warm

But little by little, it fades away

Leaves only emptiness, pain that stays

Reality sets in, and the truth is clear

The relationship has run its course, it's time to veer

The two hearts that beat as one

Are now apart, no longer undone

It's a hard journey, the path of love

The highs and lows, the push and shove

But in the end, it's all worth it

For the chance to find a love that fits

So let us cherish those we hold dear

Hold them close, show them we care

For life is short, and love is rare

And in the end, it's all we can share

Through the ups and downs, the good and bad

Let us cherish the love that we've had

For in the end, it's the memories we keep

That bring us peace, allow us to sleep

So let us take the journey of love

With all its beauty, all its tough

For in the end, it's a journey worth taking

A chance at love, a heart worth breaking.
