The Invisible Man

Invisible to the World Loud in His Own Mind

By Syed Umar Published 5 months ago 1 min read

WHY DON’T YOU MEET MY TOO-GOOD FRIENDS?

I AM SO HAPPY TO BE ALIVE.

THIS WORLD… THESE STRUGGLES… THEY MEAN SOMETHING.

THEY MEAN UMMAH.

I AM ALONE.

ALRIGHT… I AM ALONE.

DO YOU HEAR THAT?

ALL THAT NOISE?

CLAPPING… CLAPPING…

OH LOOK

THEY’RE CLAPPING FOR ME.

“HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND, BOY?”

THEY ARE NOT CLAPPING FOR YOU.

THEY ARE LAUGHING AT YOU.

I LOVE YOU

HAHAHA…

THEY ARE MAKING FUN OF YOU.

OF YOUR IGNORANCE… YOUR BITTERNESS…

SOMEBODY HAS PLANTED A BOMB.

LISTEN TO ME, MY DEAR FRIEND

BEFORE IT GOES OFF…

I JUST WANT TO MAKE SURE…

I JUST WANT… A CUP OF COFFEE.

“THE WORLD IS ABOUT TO EXPLODE

AND YOU’RE ASKING FOR COFFEE?”

SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH YOU.

SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH YOUR MIND, BOY.
