The Inevitable Journey: A Poem on Life and Death
Reflecting on Life's Ephemeral Nature: A Poem on the Journey Between Birth and Death
Life and death, intertwined they be,
One inevitable, the other a mystery.
For life is but a fleeting breath,
A journey that leads to certain death.
We come into this world so pure,
With hearts full of wonder and allure.
But as we grow, we learn to fear,
The end that comes ever so near.
We hold on to life with all our might,
For we know not what lies beyond the light.
But as we reach the end of our days,
We look back with regret and dismay.
For life is but a precious gift,
One that we should never take adrift.
But death is a part of life, it's true,
A journey that we must all go through.
So let us cherish each moment we're given,
For life is a blessing, a glimpse of heaven.
And when our time comes to say goodbye,
Let us leave with grace, and not with a sigh.
For life and death, they are but one,
A journey that we all must run.
So let us live our lives with love and grace,
And embrace death with an open embrace.
