The Inevitable
A poem inspired by the hashtag #justiceforbritney
She never was a toxic criminal.
Her only crime in Hollywood was having a uterus.
She shared her soul
She shared her truth
Another woman’s rights denied.
Her mental health was fictionaliased and sensationalized by;
Cameraman seeking scoops;
Big men in suits with an eye for money;
Keyboard warriors who think they know everything;
And sleazy slobs milking her for all its worth!
All she wanted to do was sing and dance!
One look at her and the world smiled.
But behind that glitzy frame was a circus in the zone
All the things they said and did to Britney Jean
It’s a miracle the femme fatale made it out alive
The end of the conservatorship was a day of glory
It should never have been allowed in the first place
Baby one more time was on the radio everyday
But the battle is far from over
Now the money has dried up the masks have changed
Sadly I see a nasty plot brewing:
They will murder Britney
The same way as Micheal, Diana and Whitney!
But perhaps this verse of nonsense,
Is making me part of the problem!
