In a mystical wood where enchantment stood,
A witch, her dwelling amidst herbs a multitude.
"Behold, the earth's bounty, a remedy so grand,
A healing melody, the touch of nature's hand."
Angelica root, sturdy and strong,
Measles, mumps, and chicken pox, it conquers the wrong.
With a twirl and a twist, she gathered her charms,
Basil for the heart, Cilantro, and Dill, healing balms.
Elderberries for throats, sore and tight,
Fennel for muscles weary from a day's hard fight.
Dancing on the earth, wild hair aglow,
Her pride reflected in each joyful flow.
"Gingko for memory, Hibiscus for all,
Do you know them all?" she asked with a call.
"Infuse Jasmine for grace,
Kava Kava for moments that quicken the pace."
Leaping and skipping, she led the way,
"Herbs for the feet, for the stomach, for play."
"Mint, Nettle and Oregano, a potent brew,
Passionflower for nights when sleep bids adieu."
"Q is for mysteries, Rose for the heart,
Sage for ailments, Thyme for a fresh start."
"Uva Ursi for the bladder's care,
Vivarian for sleepless nights, a secret to share."
"Wordwood for pain, Xi Gua for heat,
Yarrow for wounds, cuts, and bruises neat."
"Z for Zedoray, the journey complete,
To her cottage, we arrived, a journey so sweet."
With a low bow, gratitude expressed,
"Thank you for wisdom," my heart confessed.
