"Roots and Wings"

In every quiet morning light,

Your love has been my guiding sight.

Through every trial, big or small,

You stood beside me through it all.

With hands that held, with hearts so wide,

You gave me strength, you gave me pride.

In words of kindness, calm and true,

I found the best of life in you.

You taught me how to dream and grow,

To seek the good, to learn, to know.

And when the world seemed dark or cold,

Your warmth became my hand to hold.

No gift could match the love you give,

The lessons taught, the way you live.

So here’s my heart, in every line,

Forever grateful, ever thine.
