Summer hazes, make Autumn Breezes

Deep in the heart of the Summer Haze,
Where the heat of the summer
bows down against you,
Flowers droop limply in the sun,
Wind blows scorching hot waves,
As all manner of being search out shade,
to weather the temperate storms,
A single shadow watches over the
most tempest of beings,
Deep in the shade of the
evergreen glade,
Shadows intertwine,
in a morbid dance of sun and shadow,
wind and rain,
as the scorching heat is drowned
out by summer rain,
As we search out shade in vain.
