The Hands That Carry Me

When I am weak Jesus carries me. Away from trouble

The Hands That Carry Me

I do not always understand

the road before me.

Sometimes it twists unexpectedly,

and sometimes it feels long.

Yet I have learned

that I do not walk it alone.

Your hand guides me,

even when I cannot see the way.

You have carried me

through disappointments,

through heartbreak,

and through uncertainty.

There were days

when my faith felt small,

when questions seemed larger

than the answers.

Still You remained patient.

Still You remained near.

Still You whispered peace

into my troubled thoughts.

The world often teaches

that strength comes from within.

I have discovered something different.

My strength comes from You.

From knowing that Your love

does not fade with time,

and Your promises remain true.

When fear knocks at my door,

You bring courage.

When sorrow arrives,

You bring comfort.

That is why I trust You.

Not because life is perfect,

yet because You are faithful.

And faithfulness,

in a changing world,

is a treasure beyond measure.
