The Hands of the Clock Will Heal
A Poem on Letting Time Heal Wounds
Navigating relationships is a tricky business. It's going to be hard for me to find someone who disagrees with this.
Coursing through the rough waters of relationships often means getting bumped once in a while. The bruises hurt, and there are sometimes open wounds that fester. Many take a while( that 'while' can sometimes be quite long) to heal.
The hands of the clock do heal, though it is quite a process. These healing hands allow emotions to settle. They allow the development of objective perspectives, often necessary in emotionally-charged situations. One has the opportunity to reflect on oneself, and look at wounded relationships through a fresh lens.
The hands of the clock will mend. Enjoy these couplets, all.
The hands of the clock will mend
Let hearts settle in the sand
The hands of the clock do heal
Let unbiased eyes reveal
The hands of the clock do ponder
On events passed, hearts yonder
The hands of the clock will sow
Allow seeds of love to grow.
