The guilt I feel

With me she was so much,

But alas I lost her

Just as she lost herself.

Years later I found her,

In the devils garden

Consuming the lettuce.

I felt sad for her,

As though she ruined herself.

I knew I could’ve helped her

But she never wanted it.

And so I left her there,

In her delusional state

Accompanied by all those ants.
