He didn’t always hate it

I’m like the grinch.

You see the grinch didn’t always hate Christmas, when he was a kid he enjoyed it just like every other person.

But then something traumatic happened and so he hated it.

But every year he comes down from his mountain to look at the Christmas stuff, he may show his hatred but some part of him longs for the christmases he used to have.

But he hates them because Christmas reminds him of the first time he was rejected and wasn’t worth it.

Christmas is the time he remembers not being wanted for the first time.

So he hates it.

Christmas is rejection to him, it’s sadness.

You don’t want to relive something like that, so why wouldn’t he hate Christmas.

It’s why I hate Christmas, because it was the first moments in my life that I was completely rejected and forgotten.

Then he left, the grinch left everyone and people only visited him to scare themselves, to see all that they don’t want to be.

In reality he’s like everyone else, except a little broken.

He didn’t have the same amazing experience than you with Christmas.

He tried his hardest and got completely rejected and made fun of for it.

It broke him.

Wouldn’t you hate Christmas if all it reminded you was of how damaged you were?

Cause I know I’d want to run away to.
