The Great Untouchable

And Then...

The great untouchable

The great unknown

What we're taught when we're home grown

The great untouchable

The mysterious realm

Thoughts ticking, ticking overwhelm

The great untouchable

The unexplored universe

It sometimes feels like a hidden curse

The great untouchable

The mountaintop view

Where given paths lead, if only we knew

The great untouchable

A map, a sign, some kind of a lead

This is truly all we need

The great untouchable

Has anyone gone this way before?

Does anyone know what's in store?

The great untouchable

We want what we cannot have

If only life came with a healing salve
