The Girl That Wanted Nothing

Ever wanted to go where no one knew you, and wanted nothing from you?

There was something about getting on a plane and just going that intrigued her so much. To just get up and get away from all her demons, everyone she knew, everyone she didn't know. She had rehearsed it a thousand times everyday, but she had responsibilities, obligations, a life she did not want or ask for...

When would it be her time? Everyday she got on planes and went everywhere... Paris, Germany, England, Ireland, all 50 states, but there was nothing. Nowhere made just for her.

She wanted to go anywhere but anywhere she went she didn't want to be.

Where then?

When would it be her time?

What would bring her more happiness than this confusion she had known her whole life...

Pray, people tell her.

Keep going, you're doing great for your age, people say to her with smiles upon smiles.

All the while she just wants to sit in a cabin in the woods and listen to the sounds of sweet nothings, spoken to by no one, seen by no one, heard by no one.

Somewhere unknown.

Anywhere unknown.

Just her and her sweet nothings.
