The Gift of Salvation

Jesus, the Son of God, came down to Earth,

To show us love and give us new birth.

He healed the sick, and fed the poor,

And opened wide the Heavenly door.

He spoke with wisdom, and acted with grace,

And showed us the truth, in every place.

He suffered and died, to save us from sin,

And rose again, to let new life in.

Jesus, the Shepherd, who leads us all,

He hears our cries, and answers our call.

He brings us peace, in troubled times,

And fills our hearts, with joy sublime.

Jesus, the Savior, who paid the cost,

He offers us life, when all seems lost.

In Him we find, our hope and our light,

And in His love, we rest tonight.
