The Flowers in the Garden

Take care of your garden and pull out the pesky weeds.

You get some seeds and you put them in the ground.

You’ll get some water and pour just enough so that they won’t be drowned.

Soon they will sprout and the flowers will bloom.

But gray clouds come and covered them with gloom.

The flowers start to wilt and with out care they won’t stick around.

Even without water, weeds will appear.

Unless you pull them out they’ll still be here.

Through sun and rain.

Through happiness and pain.

The weeds will persevere.

Take care of the flowers in the garden.

It’s hard work, but it will be well worth it when you are done.

The sunflowers, daisies, and daffodils swaying in the breeze.

Taking care of the garden left me with beautiful flowers blooming and no weeds.

Those weeds will be running when they realize that they’re in my garden.
