The First Home

The love and safety we felt where did it go

The First Home

A place of warmth, where roots take hold,

Sheltered in walls, memories unfold.

The echo of laughter, the scent of care,

A haven of love, where hearts lay bare.

The creak of the floor, the hum of the air,

Each corner a story, a moment to share.

Windows that framed both storms and sun,

Marking the days when dreams begun.

The first safe haven, the grounding start,

A space etched deep within the heart.

No matter how far our feet may roam,

We carry the soul of the first true home
