The Eternal Stories That Shape Us
Echoes of Myth
MYTH : Echoes of Myth
In ages past, in stories old,
Myths were spun of heroes bold,
Of gods and goddesses above,
And creatures strange, of mythic love.
In tales of old, the gods did play,
With mortals in their earthly way,
And monsters roamed across the land,
Challenging the brave to take a stand.
The minotaur in his labyrinth,
The gorgon with her deadly glance,
The chimera with his fiery breath,
All feared by those who met their death.
But in these stories, heroes rose,
To challenge fate and fight their foes,
To stand against the gods themselves,
And claim a place upon the shelves.
These myths still live within our hearts,
As symbols of our human parts,
Of courage, hope, and love divine,
That through the ages will always shine.
From ancient times to modern day,
Myths have stayed with us to play,
Their themes still resonating strong,
As we sing their tales in song.
The hero's journey, tried and true,
Is a tale we all can imbue,
With meaning for our daily lives,
As we face our own heroic strives.
And gods and goddesses still reign,
In our hearts, if not in name,
As we seek a higher power,
To guide us in our darkest hour.
And though we know these myths are not real,
Their power to inspire we still feel,
As we look to the sky above,
And imagine the world of mythic love.
