Dark hallways

It lingered for days to come, Deliciously mingled into real life.

The early morning light, filtered through the tight shut blinds.

Tip toeing through dark hallways. Unwilling to disturb the reality curled up next to me.

The circle walked, lead straight back to where it all began. Quiet would always be to quiet from now on.

Enough questions to fill the pages of all the books organized with such precision and care.

The empress has no clothes.

Or maybe she did, It wouldn’t have mattered anyways.

Make the cut, sit in the chair, Open up the curtains let in the voyeurs.

Bare floors, bare souls, What ever it was irrevocably there.

Changed then and changed now, Infatuation has grown attached.
