The Ebb and Flow of Memories

My mind beach

By Sandra PinksterPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

Wouldn't it be nice if encounters in your life washed away like footsteps in the sand?

A days journey vanishing overnight, awakening fresh and new each morning.

Those who wish to leave a mark, a memory, a lasting impression must return time and time again to ensure their footsteps remain.

Others are welcomed to stay a short while, but when they leave their leavings last no longer than a few turnings of the tide.

Havoc may be reaped in a stormy burst, but when given a chance time heals all wounds.

Impressions lost, impressions remembered.

Each different.

Each a story.
