The rain- a symbol of joy and happiness,
How come today became a cause of loneliness?
Probably the rain reminded her of someone,
To whom now she was absolutely no one!
The thought of how raindrops selflessly get absorbed into the earth,
It made her believe that being selfless is not at all worth!
She carefully observed each rain droplet today,
Maybe it could add up to the experience in the array!
The raindrops could be a source of nourishment for the leaves,
But it was the trees who were withstanding the cleaves!
This must be the sole principle of the universe,
Sacrifice once for someone and see how they make your life adverse!
This rain was a thought provoker for her,
Because she ended up writing a poem with complete spur!
