The Dolly Llama, Raggedy Anne, and Chucky

A Rhyming Poem for the love of Dolls

Baby Sayso had buttons on her shirt and if you pushed her she would say

"I love you" and "Mama" until her batteries died on a sad day.

Red haired Chrissy could grow her hair faster than I take a shower,

and though some considered her a Shirley Temple she lacked in power.

Action figures were full of stunts especially the Hulk Hogan,

but the baby dolls that were bald could not find help from Rogaine.

The Dresden Dolls were avant garde, too ahead of pop culture time,

even the Alternative scene could not save them from tomato slime.

Chucky scared Teddy Ruxpin and that's why he's always stoned ---

Raggedy Anne took Barbie's advice and left Andy alone at home.

When Jesse sings her sad cowboy song, I begin to cry --

Don't ask Mr. Potato Head because he can't tell you why.

Balto told me at Walmart not to waste money on Christmas dolls ---

He said "The Dolly Llama" will be a bigger save than any Furby balls.
