Empty promises linger, casting shadows over trust.

Cast down by whispers, each word becomes a thrust.

Looking for honor but finding only deceit.

Indifference manifests in their eyes, cold and discreet.

People often become the architects of our disappointments, truly an eclipse of our nature.

Sincerity is withdrawn, shrouded in layers of betrayal.

Ending quietly as hearts fissure in the shadows.
