The Devil is your Prototypical 'Bad Guy'

The Devil, a rancorous fiend in sight,

Is the prototypical villain, wrong and right.

Behold its anger, its eyes red with fire,

Its sharp horns and tail, that of a real menace.

But wait, are villains always what they seem?

Or is there more than what meets the gleam?

For in the eyes of the beholder,

A villain sometimes becomes a soldier.

The Devil, too, might have a story,

Of struggles and hardships that led to its glory.

Perhaps it is misjudged, misunderstood,

A victim of circumstances and not just mere good.

So before we label any as bad,

Let's delve deeper into their lives, make them glad,

For villains are still humans, with hearts and desires,

And with compassion, we can light their fires.

For in the end, it's not about good or evil,

But how we treat each other, how we forgive all upheaval.

So let us be kind, let us be just,

For even the Devil might earn our trust.
