The Day the Farm Went on Strike
The animals had a ball of a time

The Day the Farm Went on Strike
The horse wore socks and a plastic crown
Said I’m not trotting this field up and down
I’m royalty now I demand a throne
And a trough of wine all of my own
The pig was soaking in someone’s tub
With cucumber slices and scented scrub
He squealed no mud and no more slop
I’ve signed myself up to a spa and a shop
The sheep just sat with a grumpy face
Said I’ve had it with clippers and losing the race
Every spring they shave my bum
While singing songs and beating a drum
They marched to the gate with a homemade sign
It said Equal Snacks and Fatter Swine
They grunted, baaa’d and neighed and gave a speech
Mostly nonsense but quite a reach
Farmer Joe just stood and stared
Then laughed so hard he nearly aired
He tossed them crisps and a crate of pop
Said carry on you loons, I’ll never stop
Now every Tuesday it’s protest day
The animals grumble but still get hay
The horse wears glitter, the pig plays chess
And the sheep just mutters I hate this mess
