The moonlight is blazing through the branches

Like lasers beaming down

Revealing life among the shadows and they’re dancing on the ground

The beat comes in waves we cannot hear

The leaves wave like fingers in the air

The rhythm pounding silent to our ears

And the dancers gather round.

They sway to music floating freely

The spirit moves them swiftly and with ease

Creating patterns moving gently

Like carefree whispers in the breeze

Don’t rush away the moment

Hold on to it like your breath

For all too soon the clouds will roll in

Until the shadows are all thats left.
