The Cosmic Hands
Holding together what is meant to be

The Cosmic Hands
Two figures rise like constellations,
Outlined in light against a star-thick sky,
Reaching for each other with trembling hope,
Unsure if the distance will close or hold.
Great hands cradle them from beneath,
Steady, patient, impossibly vast,
As if the universe itself is guiding them,
Offering a place where they can stand together.
There’s a purity in the way they lean forward,
Wanting connection more than certainty,
Trusting that something larger than fear
Will keep their hearts from falling apart.
I watched them float in that endless dark,
Bright outlines drawn by faith alone,
And I knew that love is always cosmic,
Always risky, always worth the reach.
