First, you took a penny
then, left another penny.
Later, we took literature
then, we gave it back.
Now, we take the essential
and give back the valuable.
Little Free Pantries.
Tiny, elevated
wooden boxes
that strengthen
and holds
relationships.
Books can be amazing
“But they don’t fill up tummies.”
Food or canned goods
make a bigger difference.
You don’t have to beg
or even ask.
The box judges
no one
but only asks
to be given.
It’s a true test
of trust and comradery
for a good neighbor
anonymously.
No strings attached
No pride will be harmed
If you truly want to grow
closer to your community
Little Free Pantries
are the next great tool.
Encouraging an act of kindness
One individual at a time.
