The Clutter in My Mind

Destroying my head

The Clutter in My Mind

Why do we hoard the clutter in our heads?

Why do we let it crawl inside our hearts,

play with our emotions,

and shake the foundations of who we are?

Memories hit like stones,

sharp and cold,

leaving cracks that never heal.

Voices whisper doubts,

feeding on our fear,

laughing at our silence.

Do we love the pain,

or are we addicted to the weight?

We carry it,

stack it higher,

and wonder why we break.

The mind twists under its own shadows,

the heart bleeds from old echoes,

and still we listen.

We let it rule,

we let it tear,

we let it linger.

But I refuse to kneel.

I fight for each breath,

for every heartbeat.

I claw through the noise,

I tear through the darkness,

I reclaim the pieces that belong to me.

The fire inside will not be tamed,

it burns the chains and the ghosts alike.

I stand taller in the ruin,

the storm bends to my will,

my shadow becomes my armor,

my rage becomes my shield.

Will it end?

Perhaps, one day,

the storm will quiet,

the clutter will fade,

and I will rise

without the ghosts on my shoulders
