The Body Forgets, The Soul Remembers
Health is a fragile kingdom.
Some days the gates stay open,
others they close without warning.
I have learned to walk gently inside myself.
The body forgets what peace feels like.
It tenses even in sleep.
But the soul remembers.
It hums beneath the noise, unbroken.
I used to fight what hurt me.
Now I speak to it kindly.
It is only my body asking to be seen,
to be forgiven for being human.
One breath at a time,
one heartbeat after another.
That’s how healing begins,
not in strength, but in softness.
