My pain continues to grow
And yet no one knows
Tears fall like heavy rain
Why do I feel so much pain
I wish and I dream
Apon a star beam
Rain drips from my eyes
As I watch the sunrise
I hope for a better day
On each new ray
I blow a good-bye kiss to the burial grounds
Where my past can be found
I throw my past away
For today is a new day
Right now, the future looks bright
So, I am filled with sweet delight
Since the future is waiting to be born
There is no time left for the past to be mourned
