The beginning

2024 April PAD Challenge

Before everything

there must've been a beginning.

***

When dark and bright separated,

land rose from the endless ocean,

like a king rises above his kingdom.

***

The first animals showed up, breathing

the ancient air, that plants created

with hard work, fighting for living

in spite of ruthless circumstances,

that decreased survival chances.

***

There must've been a reason why

creatures left the sea after a while

and some of them stood up to fly.

***

They gathered strength, more and more,

growing legs and wings and horns,

so we can call 'em dinosaurs.

***

They owned the globe for centuries

thousands and millions of years

that's what's said by scientists.

***

But eventually everything

that has a kind of beginning

has some weird ending too.

A finish that sounds like a "boom".

***

And there are cases

when no survivors are needed

to tell what was going on

before we even existed.

Anna, I love this! The Leviathan is most likely a dinosaur in the Bible. The amazing thing is that every species was created and has its own unique DNA. Which debunks evolution because of we evolve from monkeys we would have monkeys DNA in us somewhere and we don’t. Excellent job my friend. 😊❀️
