The world is full of perfect things,
Of perfect forms and flawless wings,
But in my heart, I hold a love,
For things that are less than above.
For in the flaws, I see the grace,
And in the quirks, I find the face,
Of someone who is truly real,
And all the beauty they reveal.
The crooked smile, the mismatched eyes,
The voice that cracks, the laugh that cries,
Are all the things that make you you,
And make my heart feel so brand new.
in this world of plastic dreams,
It's the imperfection that redeems,
And in the flaws, I see the light,
That shines so brightly, both day and night.
So let us celebrate the scars,
And all the things that make us stars,
For in the flaws, we find our worth,
And in the love, we find our mirth.
The things that make us different,
Are the things that make us shine,
And in the midst of all our flaws,
Our beauty's truly divine.
The way your hair falls out of place,
Or how you laugh when you're embarrassed,
Are the little things that steal my heart,
And leave me feeling so cherished.
So let's not strive for perfection,
But embrace our unique design,
For it's the beauty of imperfection,
That makes our love so truly divine.
