The Amber City.

My love letter to October.

Once upon a time,

In a dream

Or a dream of a dream

I fell in love with the Amber city.

With morning crisp and toothy sun,

And "All Too Well" with cozy scarfs,

With ciders, wines and pumpkin spice

In the mug with Samhain touch.

With woodland walks and fairy lights,

And reading gothic in the night,

With feathered friends on the river,

And first kiss on Blackfriars Bridge.

With amber leaves , washing down the year,

And northern wind, brought by Durin's Day,

With autumn celebration, reflecting by the flames,

And first white stars on the amber carpet.

Here nostalgia takes its hold

The mindtrick I can welcome.

In the Amber city, where the time can stop,

Like yellowed picture of the memory long gone.

And so it happened. Irreversibly, forever.

I fell in love with the Amber city

In a dream

Or a dream of a dream.

Love always, M🍂
