Thanksgiving '21

As the year quickly comes to an end,

I can't help but feel indifferent about it.

2020 was soul crushing & left me heartbroken,

So much so that I left the view of the public.

This year I recuperated in silence,

I found myself all over again.

But while I got better & gained resilience,

Everyone else appeared to get worse as we continue to bathe in Sin.

Even though hope is not completely lost,

We still stray away from each other more than ever.

We don't understand that separation is self-destruction at any cost,

While we fail to realize that we need unification for Life's true endeavors.

I just hope at this point in everyone's life;

We all take a moment to be thankful for the L's we took but also for the times we won.

Because tomorrow is not promised as the world changes & pain becomes rife,

So, whether you are alone or with family; I pray you still have a Happy Thanksgiving for 2021.
