A Poem To Thank Everyone Who Thinks I Am OK
Today someone posted a link to my profile recommending me as a more than OK Poet. I was humbled and shocked .
This is a thank you poem.

What words can convey my gratitude for
This honour you have granted me today
Words are failing me though they are my trade
This has never happened to me before

Thank You in the biggest way , Thankβs a while
Iβm so humbled to be thought of this way
Words still fail me , I donβt know what to say
You have given me a Cheshire Cat smile

I am lucky , inspired by a true Muse
Mermaids and Witches and Friends from Vocal
Have stirred my cauldron to make my fine brews
Inspiration is everywhere, so cool

My words and rhymes are from you and by you
Thank you my friends, I do really love you

Lady of the Water

NAZIS IN AMERICA
In May of 1945, amidst the collapse of the Third Reich, high-ranking Nazi engineer Wernher von Braun reached out to the US government, aware of his strategic value due to his role in developing long-range ballistic missiles. Von Braun's proactive approach highlighted the beginning of Operation Paperclip, a covert initiative aimed at recruiting German scientists to the US before they fell into Soviet hands. Over the course of 17 years, Operation Paperclip facilitated the relocation of over 1,500 German scientists to America, disregarding their Nazi affiliations and potential war crimes.
