Tears in the Silence

Waiting for a love unseen

By Rohitha LankaPublished about a year ago • 1 min read

I heard tears rolling down my cheeks

Like falling into the ocean

Even though I was standing at the door,

The ocean was not there, you were talking

Even though you were watching silently

The ocean did not reach the sky

Even though my heart was like a fog

I was waiting unseen

Even though I was waiting to leave

I felt your heartbeat

So why do the tears pile up

Until the end of the world
