Tatts

A poem

Patchwork tatts

Hiding scars from

A 2 AM bullet hole

Roses in prolific

Abundance like

Dandelions

Growing in

Wild disarray

Like babushka dolls

The more you look

The more you see

Scabs healed over

With time covered

In colored ink

Each stroke

Covering the

Mark of a survivor

While others judge

Him as if he is an

Outcast

Little realizing

His motto was

To serve and

To protect

Oo another great entry! I love the idea of patchwork tattoos. “A 2 AM bullet hole” is a great line!! So clever to put those two prompts together. “Like babushka dolls The more you look The more you see” Is also a particularly brilliant description
