Weeping willow ‘s haunt me
as spiders crawl down them
they touch my flesh
and as hard as I try I can’t move
I am Locked in the web the web of deception
pain
and disgust with myself and everything around me
I am A shell
A piece of who I used to be I am tangled in a web of fear and self animosity
I am the dancer that broke their foot
I’m the photographer that went blind
I am the singer who went mute and as I sit there untangling myself slowly but surely
I look into the spider‘s eyes and see everything I used to be and everything I want to be so then I stop fighting it
and I’m consumed
