Dearest love, pleasant sight,

Heart now broken and so contrite,

Prettiest stalk amidst the flora, brightest joy in the middle of the rain,

Delicate beauty amongst many lessers, weeping willow from anxious pain,

Your eyes are full of sorrow, your heart is full of dread,

The storm around you is unyielding, take heart and rejoice, instead!

Do not mourn in the midst of the downcast, release such sorrow, do not cry,

Be of good cheer and take heart, for a new beginning is all but nigh,

Oh lovely daughter of the king, do not despair despite the shadows of night,

Do not fret over what was, take up arms and wage you fight!

I wish you nothing but joy, my heart would surely bless,

The prized diadem of the kingdom, the beauty of the princess!

Prized treasure throughout the land, dearest friend, meekest dove,

Take heart and be of good courage, dearest love!

Be strong, and take charge of your course, uplift your voice, and sing,

You're loved by your kin, you’re treasured by your king!
