A walk in the Woods
A Walk in the Woods Amidst the towering trees and fallen leaves, I wander through the woods at ease. The rustling of the leaves and the gentle breeze, A symphony of nature, a song of peace. The sun filters through the branches up high, A dappled light that paints the sky. The birdsong fills my ears, a joyful cry, A harmony that lifts my spirit high. As I walk, I feel the earth beneath my feet, A grounding force that keeps me neat. The crunch of the leaves, a rhythmic beat, A cadence that moves me, a calming treat. The scent of the woods, so fresh and clean, A bouquet of nature, a scent serene. The fragrance of pine, a scent unseen, A perfume that fills me, a memory keen. In the woods, I am one with nature, A peaceful state, a perfect picture. The calmness of the woods, a loving gesture, A healing presence, a timeless treasure. As I leave the woods, I feel renewed, A sense of calm that's hard to elude. The peace I found, a gift that's accrued, A memory that's cherished, a gratitude imbued.
