sad poetry
The cathartic nature of poetry makes it one of the best outlets to channel feelings of sadness, emotional turmoil, grief and despair.
The journey within
She wandered on, she walked alone, With dreams that once were carved in stone. She searched through sun, she searched through shade, Through storms of sorrow life had made. “Just a bit more,” she softly said, “This grief shall pass, it will be shed.” With every step, she moved ahead, Through paths unknown, by hope she led. She paused within a silent thought, And wondered what the search had brought. Her quest became a question deep, That haunted even in her sleep. Her tender heart, so brave, so still, At last gave in to fate’s harsh will. For though she sought with all her soul, She never reached her final goal.
