Performance Poetry is poetry out loud; poems brought from the page to the stage.
The Dear John Letter of Alfred J. Prufrock
Dear Mr. Prufrock, I’m adhering to your rule about not addressing you familiarly in company (when are we ever alone?), but I cannot go on like this, with a hundred revisions before toast and tea. It is not your bald spot that chafes me so much as your prefacing every argument with quotes from Dante, in Italian, ensuring that I do not know what you mean at all.

My Tits. Content Warning.
My Tits When I go to the store And buy a new shirt I have to think How it would look I have to wonder “Will people think I'm slutty For emphasizing my breasts?” Does it matter What I do with my body? Does it matter How much skin I show? Maybe it's not My boobs Or my cunt But my fat That makes people look at me in disgust But if I didn't have A pussy Would they still care? Would my meat Be something to make fun of? Or to celebrate? If my chest Was on a man Nobody Would give a fuck
