What the Soil Remembers
they told me nothing good grows from broken things— but i have seen seeds split open just to bloom. i have buried shards of myself in soft earth, not to forget, but to root. the dirt does not judge what falls into it— it makes room for everything. grief. love. bones. hope. if you listen, you can hear it breathing. if you dig, you’ll find not just remains— but beginnings.
