love poems
Love poems for hopeless romantics; I'm the poet and you're my muse.
Christmas
Christmas Softly falls the snowflake, soft and white, The purest blanket in a calm, still night. Lights twinkle on the tree, standing tall, A season of cheer, for one and all. Rooms ring with laughter always bright, The warmth of home on frosty nights. With love wrapped for the day, And joy in the hearts to share. Singing of carols sweet refrain, Of peace, joy, fills space again. The world is hushed in gentle grace When hope and love fill every space. On Christmas Eve, wish takes flight, A perfect peace and a dream of love's delight. And this pure and true season brings about the light you and I can find.

Blue Moon
Blue moon, so ethereal, so unique, A silver light in the night. With shadows thrown, soft but clear, Whispering secrets we cannot hear. Your shining bright, a dream in endless skies, Lit by the wonder of our eyes. The unrealisable symbol, Of love and hope, of hearts untried. Though it may seem away, It lights the night and remains the same. That moment of glory may not last, but in its luminance we become fastened. Blue Moon, you rise-a mystic sight; A cosmic dance of delight that is purely alre. You fill the dark with timeless grace, A quiet beauty in an open space.

Dark Sky
The hidden dark sky tells its tale: ungone, Of storm and wind behind their tongues; Clouds that whisper above drift in grace, And hide from face the forgotten moon's. Stars buried in the deep night, Now lost are their silvery gleams from view. Yet fills air; the world sleeps; While secrets in silence creep. Thunder moans in the distance, Lightning strikes ever-trembling tones. Yet here [in more broad deeps] the dark sky maintains dreams to keep. Here behind its veil is our habitation, Beneath soft-tracing race of stars overhead: And in shadow, we are free to fly, Under the wings of the dark sky.

Last Night
Last Night Underneath the dark, deep sky, Silence keeps the secrets of stars. The fleeting wind, a muted sound, Such a big world and we are alone. Where shadows, dreams decay; Slow, stumbles time in its decay. The moonlight weeps its silver spill; A hush in fragile calm breathless still. Hands, hands twisted, silence speaks, Hearts, beat away loudly, yet courage falters. Not a promise now; sun not shining anymore, Yet fading echoes empty skies. But somewhere in this void, a speck of blood still burns. Fluid. The break of love that broke the link. Born bright with darkness, One last flare, our last true night.
