heartbreak
They can break your heart, but they can't break your soul; poetry about lost love that comforts and uplifts.
Shattered Silence
In the stillness of the night, A whisper breaks the calm, Not of love or sweet embrace, But of a fist that brings her harm. Bruises bloom like wilted flowers, Petals of purple, black, and blue, Each one a silent scream, Each one a story that’s too true. Her tears fall, a river deep, But no one sees, no one knows, The pain she hides beneath her smile, The scars she wears like hidden clothes. His words, they cut, they break her down, A poison in her veins, Yet still, she stays, in fear, in doubt, Bound by invisible chains. But listen close, hear her heart, It beats with strength untold, For in the darkness, there’s a light, A fire that won’t grow cold. She’ll rise one day, she’ll break the mold, And leave the past behind, For every woman who’s been torn, Will find her voice, her peace of mind. No more silence, no more fear, No more hiding from the night, For she’s a warrior, she’s a queen, And she’ll step into the light. So let her story echo loud, In every heart, in every home,

Silent Cries
In the quiet corners of the world, Where shadows dance and hope unfurls, Lies a heart with no hand to hold, A story untold, a spirit cold. Their laughter, once a golden stream, Now echoes through a broken dream, For in their eyes, a silent plea, A wish for love, to just be free. No mother's touch to calm their night, No father's voice to guide them right, Alone they stand, yet hearts so bold, In a world that's often cold. They walk through days with heavy feet, In search of warmth, a love complete, But still they rise, despite the pain, In every loss, there's something gained. For orphans are the strongest breed, They plant their hearts, they sow their seed, And in the darkness, they will find, A strength within, a peace of mind. So when you see their eyes, so deep, Remember those who silently weep, And let your heart, with kindness, share, A world where every soul's aware.

Fading Paws
**Fading Paws** In days gone by, you were all youth and light, A bounding joy, a star so bright. But now, old friend, your pace has slowed, Your fur, once golden, now softly snowed. Eyes that sparkled, now misted and gray, Your bark a whisper of yesterday. The chase, the fetch, the endless run, Fading like the setting sun. Your once strong limbs now tremble and ache, Each step you take, my heart does break. For time, relentless, marches on, And soon, dear one, you’ll be gone. But know this truth, my loyal friend, Our bond transcends the approaching end. In every wag, in every sigh, Your love will never say goodbye. So as you rest, your spirit worn, I cherish you, who've never mourned. In your last days, I’ll stay near, For when you go, I’ll shed a tear. For though you age, and time departs,

The pain of bullying
In the halls where whispers creep, Where shadows linger, secrets seep, A world unfolds, unseen, unheard, In every glance, in every word. The silent tears, the muffled cries, Hidden beneath the laughing skies, A heart weighed down by fear and shame, A child lost in a cruel game. Words like daggers, sharp and cold, Tales of torment, often retold, A smile that fades, a soul that breaks, In the silent storm that hatred makes. Yet in the dark, a spark remains, A hope that rises through the chains, For every wound, a strength is born, In the quiet dawn of a new morn. Speak the truth, let courage ring, In every voice, let justice sing, For in our hands, the power lies, To lift the fallen, to dry their eyes.

The House Silent
In a house full of shadows, she wanders the halls, Where the echoes of laughter once painted the walls. Her footsteps are whispers, her voice barely heard, A song of longing, without a single word. The sun through the window, it barely does shine, On a life that feels distant, no longer divine. The clock on the mantle ticks on, without care, As she sits in the quiet, her heart in despair. Once she was vibrant, a flame burning bright, Now she’s a ghost, fading out of sight. Her dreams, like old curtains, have gathered the dust, In a house where the silence has long earned her trust.
