Now
Right now, I’m jaded. Where once I was elated, Now, I’m deflated. * This has more to do with teaching struggles than personal. It’s not as fun as it used to be. Many colleagues are saying the same things. Students are more challenging than ever. It’s a good thing this is my last year. 🥹

I have a goal of 50 days - 50 haikus - responding to 50 different songs. These are songs with lyrics that I feel close to. Number Thirty Two is Pretty in Pink by The Psychadelic Furs. This song has one of the most beautiful lines ever written: She doesn't have anything you want to steal/Well, nothing you can touch.....
