Candlelight flickers. Echoes are heard distantly. Ghosts scream and moan.

Shadowy figures With an aura of darkness Wrapped in tattered cloaks
Disturbing shadows Seem to suck warmth from the air. I am not alone.
My blood-curdling screams As the dagger cut my arm My blood was everywhere.
Footsteps on ceiling The unexplained window sounds, And rattling windows.
Plunged into darkness, Enveloped in deep shadows, Thump-THump, THUmp-THUMp, THUMP-!

Suddenly I see Eerie eyes staring at me. Chains rattled nearby
Ghosts inside of me Seemed to take my soul away. Darkness all around
sweep up the shards. mop the spills. redo your face. while you wait, forgive him.

Black sky holds its breath, as if not to wake the dead. Then the first bird screams.
