Synched Speech Bubbles
A tritina poem on communication
If you've been on this Earth for some time, you'll know that ill-timed speech can cause relationships tsunamis.
You'll understand its importance for building trust, resolving conflicts, connecting emotionally and managing expectations.
It involves what's definitely not my strong suit - active listening. That, combined with respectfulness and clear expression, both verbally and non-verbally.
Syncing speech is far from easy, but worth the effort - it gives relations needed balance. Enjoy this tritina poem.
Clear speech bubbles in a line
Key unlocks the wounded heart
Mends the soul and tends it fine
Hearts will beat together fine
When speech bubbles, in a line
Sure words coming from the heart.
Minds do meld as one so fine
All speech bubbles, in a line
Thoughts and words come from the heart.
Speech so fine, in a line, mends wounded heart.
Note:
I love tritinas for their short, simple structure, though writing them takes a little thought. If you notice, the end words of the first stanza are deliberately repeated in a set way in the second and third stanzas. So it flows as follows:
1. line, heart, fine
2. fine, line, heart
3. fine, line, heart
There are three stanzas in a tritina poem with a final envoy, or line, that involves another key word/phrase from the poem:
Speech bubbles, fine, line, heart.
Do give it a try. They are quite short and fun to write too.
