She closes her eyes
and sees brilliants
Her stoic heart
beats like a drum.
She opens her eyes
in the soft stillness
her lips trace
flowered lyrics
as her windowed mind
sings a love song distant
boldly steeped
in hues of reds
And pinks, greens
and blues
And she blooms
Symphony of soul.
